West Hills has the finest pre-school program on Long Island. Children ages 3-5 learn to swim, play sports, interact socially and have a lot of fun. In our pre-school program, children become independent, while at the same time making friends that will last a lifetime........
Our caring staff is trained to help transition your child into his or her camp experience, with special emphasis on easing separation anxiety and making each child feel comfortable in his/her new environment. A counselor to camper ratio of about 1 to 4 insures that each child will be successful from the very first day.
The pre-school children have their own sports and fine arts specialists. These trained adults work on skill development and game play (Sports) and music, dance, pantomime, etc. (Fine Arts). They complement the work of the regular group leaders and counselors.
A new feature of our pre-school program is The Happy Bookworm. Taught by two dynamic pre-school educators, this learning component incorporates storytelling, music, and artwork within the framework of educational themes.
Pre-school children enjoy their own separate indoor facilities and spacious outdoor lunch, play, and field areas. A selection of full-week (3, 4, & 5 year olds), mini-week, and mini-day (3 & 4 year olds only) programs allows you to choose the best camp experience for your child.

For children ages 18-30 months and their parent or designated guardian

Daily Schedule:
10:05-10:40 Meet & Greet in Playground and Happy Bookworm Class
10:45-11:20 Camp Activities which may include: Fishing & Boating, Playground, Jr. Zipline, Arts & Crafts, Sporting Activities
11:25-12:00 Swim and Waterslide for parent & child
12:05-12:40 Lunch/Closing Circle Time
A $250 per child non-refundable deposit is required. Final balance is due by April 1, 2011. Any change of
enrollment must be approved by WH Director. No make-up days or refunds.
