Girls Night Out


Girls Night Out is going to be a blast this summer and we want you there! Enjoy hanging out with new friends, learning great new ways to stay fit, enjoy being pampered and get empowered! Come once or come all summer long!

 

Open to Girls Ages 12-17

 

(divided into Two Sections: 12-14 & 15-17)

  • Meet individually each week with a Registered Dietitian to gain insight into your own eating habits. Learn about staying in shape, feeling good, or increase your sports acuity.
  • Each week there will be a different theme related to female empowerment and wellness.
  • Enhance endurance, stamina, and start feeling fit as you participate in 45 minutes of fun physical activity! (Zumba, Dance and a whole lot more!)
  • Learn from the female experts who will come to share their stories of success! (Might inspire you to reach new goals!)

 

Session Topics

 

(each session is 3 hours and is $35 per session)

  • Be Your Best Defense (Nutrition / Self Defense) July 7
  • Move It, Move It (Physical Fitness / Belly Dancing) July 15
  • Face the Music (Make-up & Skin Care / Kick Boxing) July 21
  • Just Picture It! (Self-Empowerment & Yoga / Photo Shoot) July 28
  • Put Your Best Foot Forward  (Zumba & Manicures / Pedicures) August 4
  • Chop Chop (Cooking Healthy / Karate) August 11
  • Diver Diva (Fashion Show / Swimming) August 18

 

Basic Format per Session

7:00-7:15 Getting Aquainted and Guest Speaker

7:15-8:15 First Activity

8:15-8:45 Snack and Hang Out

8:45-9:45 Second Activity

9:45-10:00 Wrap Up

 

Marlo Mitler, MS RD

Private Practice Dietician specializing in Pediatrics and Adolescents, will participate in all sessions. Marlo brings with her a wealth of knowledge from her practice for the last 15 years, along with the experience from her media appearances on FOX News, NBC, Today in New York, and publications such as Health & Fitness, TeenWire, Newsday and many more.
